Sheltered terrain skied well; we avoided steep slopes in the middle elevations. Several collapses were noted at low elevations. More prominent or exposed terrain features held foot+ deep wind slabs, and it appeared to be far more wind-effected at lower and upper elevations today. No pits were dug as I had no curiosities in the terrain we entered today about structure or what the avalanche problem would be if we wanted to find it: the old/new snow interface remains the most sensitive interface that I have observed in these locations in the Tetons. New snow will likely remain most sensitive on solar aspects, especially in upper elevation, steep terrain.
