Quick report

Avalanche concerns appeared to be isolated.  The holiday slab is faceted throughout, though there are areas with lingering 1F structure (see profile). These did not produce results in stability tests.  The more recent wind events have left small hard slabs scattered around all elevations below rollovers, behind tree fences, and in gullies, most recently from up-valley east winds.  We crossed several of these without signs of instability, but I was able to produce propagating results in a shallow drift about 20 cm thick (1F).  

The recent east wind event has reduced concerns for facet sluffs on a lot of terrain that was problematic earlier in the week.  Snow surfaces are often wind-stiffened, and wind crusts cap the facet sandbox on most open slopes.  We hunted out a few wind-sheltered slopes to produce sluffs, but they didn't gain as much volume or run as far as what I saw in similar terrain last week.  

Traveled on numerous steep slopes with no signs of instability underfoot except triggering a couple facet sluffs.
