If full sun and warm air temps return in force, surface snow will be susceptible to wet-loose and maybe even wet-slab avalanching.

Snowpack

Storm snow already settled to ~30cm HN. Cornices semi-tender, would break readily beneath skis - both old layers and new - but no propagation. No evidence of cracking or failure propagation in surface (storm) layer below ridgetop/cornice. Crust beneath storm snow is supportive - could feel it under skis at depth of turn, otherwise no factor. With effort, possible to initiate loose snow sloughs on steep rollovers, but they did not gain momentum. Storm snow developing into soft slab - great skiing today, about 4F hardness due to warming, little observed wind effect. Dense enough to make somewhat slow skiing. Hopefully sun stays mostly hidden for a couple days!
