Above treeline fresh wind slabs were reactive over old hard surfaces on convexities. Temps stayed cold with light to moderate north winds. Sky was broken then overcast. Up to a foot of new snow in sheltered open areas. There were signs of previous wind loading under the new snow, otherwise a supportable crust was present.
