No other signs of instability from the day as we skied north-facing terrain and avoided areas where we thought the melt-freeze crust would be present.

Mineral Creek, East aspect, ~5000', 11:30am SS-ASc-R1-D1.5-I This windslab avalanche was 30 to 50cm deep and ran on a 2cm thick melt-freeze crust with 2mm near surface facets and decomposing fragmented particles on top.
