This soft slab broke at about 8300 feet, 12-18" deep, 100 yards (ish) wide in the starting zone, north side of mount Aire. It ran in the gully for 1000 feet or so, as best we could see it did not break down into any lower layers as the bed surface remained on the buried surface hoar of last week.
