40 degree slope on the North edge of Bailey's on the saddle head wall - poking around to see what the slope/aspect at elevation was like. Was able to trigger a slab that broke in the top/new snow/wind deposition layer. Observed a secondary crack in the layer below, however it did not propagate. The resulting slide entrained some additional surface snow, but did not propagate into other layers, or adjacent slopes. Lots of wind and snow transport early in the day.
