Due S aspects bare at all elevations, all other aspects vary from sun/wind hardpack (pic 1 James face; pic 2 upper Wolf Canyon, momentary-neo corn, and shallow facet-pow true north (see pit data). Subtle deviations off compass routes change coverage and condition dramatically. </p>
