Travels today took us to upper Snake Creek. We observed last night's snow moving on various crusts, and triggered some tiny (5 ft wide) wind slabs on loaded east facing terrain. We dug in relative shelter, attached is a snowpit. Our ECTN25 result means little to me. Nice to be skiing avalanche terrain on my birthday! Powder still available in the freezer!
