Dropped in and made about 4 turns. Looked back up to make sure my dog was following and saw a decent sized wet sluff avalanche start. It picked up some good speed and stripped the face about 6" deep to a sun crust. Probably would have skied out ok, but it was certainly a big risk with the dog. Slide ran all the way into the gully about 500m down. Skied even more conservative for the remainder of the run, but caused another 3-4 slides of similar size as we exited the area. Thankfully I have a clinger of a dog or else he was very likely to have been caught, carried, and buried.
