Bench below Frostbite and 4068

Shallow snowpack varied in depth from 1 - 2.5 ft. Wind transporting snow at 2,500 - 2,700 ft and flagging off Frostbite ridge. Wind was generally from the SE, moderate winds with some gusting. Flurries in am, then beginning snowing lightly around 1 pm. We experienced a lot of collapsing and had easy results on basal facets in hand shear pits. Dug quick pit, CT1 SC on basal facets and ECTP4 on basal facets, 5cm up. Could not kick anything off on test slopes. While there is weak structure, there is not a lot of connectivity in the weak layer.
