This was a skier triggered D1 avalanche on a SE slope. The skier skied out of this small avalanche. I suspect this was storm snow running on the MF crust formed during the high pressure prior to this storm. This crust was easily found and felt on any solar slopes. We observed wind deposition along the ridge lines, but did not observe any wind slab off the ridge. We noted graupel throughout the day with moderate precipitation intensity and moderate to strong sustained NW winds.
