Quick report

The morning saw a breakable crust on the way up the Commonwealth, which softened rapidly as the day warmed. Snow from the trees had created some roller balls on Saturday 2/28, but there wasn't much left to release today. Staying in the trees and low angle didn't make seeing many other red flags easy, but the snow was gloppy and wet on the hike out. The crust was apparent 29cm down at 3800', while there was a very subtle layer at 22cm down that could be the last sign of the 2/13. W aspect of a small lump in a generally S facing meadow.
