Quick report

Cracking
specific
Collapsing
widespread

Two-step hardness change from 1/6 weak layer to new storm snow. Extremely greasy in the location that we dug. Plenty of obvious signs of instability. Collapsing on south, east, and northeast aspects. Some rumbled, could audibly tell they traveled a long distance.

F***ing cold this morning, warmed up to mid-teens as expected. Light precipitation starting around 3pm. Calm to light winds.

Snowpack

45 cm dense (1F) slab on top of large, faceted weak layers. Stability test scores indicated likelihood of propagation. Large rumbling collapses and cracking of snowpack confirmed those results.
