Was out with the AAIRE 2 class through SMG, dug a few pits on the NE side of Forecasters Nob. During our isolated column test, we had the following results: - CTM RP 30cm below top of snowpack, failed on the 2/5 layer - CTM SP 50cm below top, failed on the 2/1 level - CTM CTH SC 125cm below top, failed on the 1/6 layer We did not observe any signs of wet loose avalanches, but there was some radiation recrystallization on the SW slopes between Forecasters Nob and the Cross, around 3:30pm. Finally, we had one isolated collapse in a wind loaded location while going up those same SW slopes.

Large avalanche in the NW bowl of Galena Peak, looks like it may have gone all the way to the ground.
