Quick report

Narrow column compression test showed 4 fractures at noon in Baker Backcountry below Artist Point. Fractures were all clean sudden planar; most no deeper than 40cm and hard to trigger. Specifically ct4 15cm, ct18 25cm, ct23 37cm, and ct30 80cm which fractured atop the 30 Dec 2023 interface at 91cm. Compression test used 30x30 column, at elevation 4750, and aspect ENE.
