Quick report

Temperatures were already quite warm by 930am today. Under trees, snow surfaces were barely frozen from last night. Away from trees, surfaces were more firm and supportable. By 10am, steep east aspects were soft enough for quality riding, but the timing window was narrow for this. We saw a wet loose avalanche on a north aspect that occurred sometime between 1030 and 11am. After 11am, steep S and E aspects were already too soft for safe travel, so we moved to lower angle terrain. By 1230pm, temperatures were uncomfortably warm, and even low angle terrain was getting so soft that skis were diving unpredictably.

Lots of roller ball activity on all aspects, and a D1.5 wet loose avalanche on a north aspect
