A decent size natural avalanche that ran in the middle of the night. Multiple small natural avalanches observed on East aspect around 7500-8500' elevations, one large D3 avalanche observed.

Abnormal warm temps with rain at higher than usual elevations yesterday. Moderate wet snow amounts at high elevations, followed by a significant wind event.

Natural D3 avalanche observed by groomer this morning. Likely occurred in the middle of the night. Starting elevation ~8500'. Toe of the debris was 6850'. Starting zone showed some crowns mixed with areas that had filled back in. Visible crown was estimated at 12-18" deep and 300' wide.
