Quick report
Cooper and I went into the ravine to dig a full profile on a south/southeast aspect to observe the reactivity of newly formed windslabs. While hiking up to our snowpit location, we noticed density changes within the snowpack which seemed to be variable based on location and aspect. North and northeast aspects appeared to be hard and wind scoured, whereas east, southeast, and south aspects were pillowy with obvious windslabs. Our snowpit was a S/SE aspect at 4484ft below Right Gully. Sky was clear, winds were calm. Boot pen 25cm. The height of snow was 200cm. Our pit depth was 139cm. The slope angle was 29 degrees. We observed ECTN2 @110cm at (29cm down from the surface), and ECTP10 @65cm (74cm down). We also observed several ice crusts below 42cm in our pit.
