Went for a tour up near Willard Peak and dug a pit at 8,600 feet on a NE aspect. Performed an ECT, which yielded a result of ECTP11. The old wind slab failed at 30cm on old facets. The depth of the snowpack in this area was 70-90cm.
The snow surface was quite variable, but I was able to trigger some dry loose sluffs, especially on north aspects.
