Forecast Snow Stability: Little change is expected. The patchy snow cover may soften slightly during the day but it will remain well bonded and stable. Greatest amounts will be found in North to East facing corries above 900 metres and towards the main Cairngorms. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: The freezing level will be above the summits with light rain forecast from mid-afternoon. Winds will be very strong, West-South-West or South-Westerly during the day.
