Forecast Snow Stability: Shallow accumulations of windslab will form in wind sheltered locations on North to East aspects above 1000 metres. These new deposits will be unstable where they overlie old snow-ice but accumulations are not expected to be significant. Deepest fresh deposits will be present on the high mountains along the northern boundary of the forecast area. The old patchy snow will be well bonded and stable. The avalanche hazard will be Low.
