The fresh snow as well as the wind slabs that are forming in all aspects will become increasingly prone to triggering above approximately 2000 m. The fresh snow as well as the wind slabs formed during the snowfall can be released easily, or, in isolated cases naturally above approximately 2000 m. As a consequence of the precipitation slab avalanches are possible as the day progresses, but they can reach medium size in some cases. In particular at the base of rock walls and behind abrupt changes in the terrain the avalanche prone locations will become more prevalent. In particular on steep shady slopes avalanches can be released in deep layers of the snowpack.

Individual weak layers exist in the bottom section of the snowpack in particular on shady slopes. The rain gave rise to favourable bonding of the snowpack below approximately 2000 m. In all regions at elevated altitudes snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind. The new snow is lying on the unfavourable surface of an old snowpack in particular on steep shady slopes above approximately 2000 m. In particular on steep shady slopes the avalanches can be released in deep layers of the snowpack.
