Forecast Snow Stability: Fresh areas of windslab will form during the morning, mainly on steep North-West, North and North-East aspects above 950 metres. This snow will thaw later in the period. Localised instabilities will be present where this fresh snow exists. Exposed old snow will be stable. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.
Forecast Weather Influences: There will be a period of snow above 800 metres overnight and during Tuesday morning, followed by warmer temperatures and rain at all levels by the afternoon.
