Avalanche Activity

The weather report and anticipated change in the avalanche danger are uncertain. Continuous warming. In some localities up to 10 cm of snow will fall above approximately 1800 m.

On steep slopes small and, in isolated cases, medium-sized moist and wet avalanches are possible as a consequence of warming. The wind slabs are mostly rather small can only be released by large loads in most cases.

Snowpack Structure

The surface of the snowpack will cool hardly at all during the overcast night and will already be soft in the early morning. The snowpack will be moist at low and intermediate altitudes. On steep sunny slopes only a little snow is lying.

Tendency

The avalanche danger will persist.
