South facing slopes at all elevations are sealed with a stiff sun crust. If excessive warming occurs there will be a chance of wet, loose slides on those aspects. The buried January surface hoar layer coninues to haunt the snowpack at mid and high elevations on northwest to northeast facing slopes. Saturday three skiers on a ridgecrest above a north facing slope triggered an avalanche sympathetically in Game Creek (Idaho Drainage) and on Friday a snowmobile triggered a slide in Teton Canyon.
