There are very few slopes where you might be able to trigger a dangerous wet avalanche. If you find a steep snow-covered slope and are sinking well past your ankles into wet snow, you should consider moving off of it. Even a small avalanche could be dangerous if it takes you for a ride off a cliff or drags you down through rocks.

A juicy winter storm arriving late Tuesday will raise the danger level into Wednesday if higher snow totals pan out.
