You can easily trigger small avalanches on northwest through north to east-facing slopes at upper elevations. In some areas, where well over a foot of new snow fell, you might be able to trigger an avalanche large enough to bury you. The easiest way to avoid triggering a dangerous avalanche is to stick to slopes below treeline on Monday. If you do travel at higher elevations, pay close attention to the terrain beneath you. Even a small avalanche can drag you down a rocky slope and injure you.
