Salt River and Wyoming Ranges

Cold and clear conditions have created a widespread layer of well developed surface on the surface of the snowpack. The snow which fell last Wednesday and Thursday is dense at the base and faceted on the surface. Avalanches are not a significant issue at this time in this shallow snowpack.
