Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will be wet or moist at all elevations. Stability will remain good in most locations. Further snow loss expected at all altitudes. Old snow at summit level becoming firmer later in the afternoon. A dusting of windblown snow is possible over summits towards the end of the period. The avalanche hazard will be Low.
Forecast Weather Influences: Light rainfall until near dawn then dry, though a trace of snow is possible late in the day. Freezing level at 1800m but descending to near summits by midday. Moderate South West winds becoming West South West later. Observed Weather Influences: Occasional periods of light but persistent drizzle; drier much later. Mild at all altitudes. ObservedSnowStability: Steadily diminishing patchy snowpack limited to coire rims, coire backwalls and some gullies above 750m. The snow is moist at all elevations and generally well stabilised. The avalanche hazard is Low.
