The snow pack is mostly stable, however yesterdays strong northwesterly winds created isolated pockets of hard wind slab up to a foot deep in some upper elevation avalanche starting zones. These shallow pockets of new hard slab could be human triggered and have the potential to knock people over and carry them over cliffs or for significant distances on very steep slopes.
