Forecast Weather Influences: High pressure will continue, dry conditions throughout. In general the freezing level will be above the summits, however the airmass over the mountains will remain cooler with summit temperatures dipping to -1.5 Celsius during the early morning. Winds will be light and variable in direction overnight before strengthening through the day to become moderate to fresh South-South-Westerlies. Observed Weather Influences: A dry sunny day with moderate Westerly winds. The 1000 metre freezing level rose to above the summits.
