As a consequence of a strong wind from northwesterly directions, further wind slabs will form in the course of the day in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. The small quantity of fresh snow as well as the small wind slabs are lying on the unfavourable surface of an old snowpack on shady slopes. These can be released. The avalanches are small and can be released by a single winter sport participant. Caution is to be exercised at transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack.
