Forecast Snow Stability: The older snowpack will remain well bonded and stable. Isolated and shallow areas of fresh windslab will be present in wind sheltered locations mainly on North to East aspects above 900 metres. These should be easily avoidable. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: South-West winds, gale force in the evening, easing to become fresh during the day. Showers, mainly in the early evening and again in the late afternoon, falling as snow above 700 metres. The freezing level will drop to 600 metres overnight, rising to 850 metres through the day. Observed Weather Influences: Very strong South-South-West winds and showers falling as snow above 800 metres. The freezing level was around 900 metres. ObservedSnowStability: The old patchy snowpack remains well bonded and stable. The dusting of fresh snow is not significant. The avalanche hazard is Low.
