Recent weather has created a highly variable and firm snow surface, making triggering an avalanche more difficult. Although triggering an avalanche is unlikely, it is not impossible. Hard-drifted snow areas on slopes steeper than 35 degrees at upper elevations should be traveled on with some sense of caution.
