Overall, the avalanche danger is LOW. The only places you might find trouble are upper elevation more east facing steep slopes where a recently formed wind drift or cornice might fail under the weight of a person.

Snow and Weather

Current Conditions: About 3 inches of snow accumulated in the mountains in the last 24 hours. Wind has been light and temperatures are around 20˚F.

Mountain Weather: We'll see the chance for snow this morning with not much accumulation expected. Wind will remain light and high temperatures will get into the low 20s. Weather remains a little unsettled on Thursday and then gets nicer Friday and through the weekend. The next storm is shaping up for Sunday night into Monday.
