With light snow showers isolated pockets of windslab may form mainly above 850 metres in wind sheltered areas with gully exits and corrie rims with North through East to South-Easterly aspect most affected, these areas are not expected to be deep or extensive and should be easily avoidable. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Rain will continue overnight with a trace of new snow on the higher tops. It will become drier by morning with the possibility of light snow showers above 800 metres. Winds will be South-Westerly fresh to strong overnight veering and decreasing to moderate North-Westerly through the course of the day. Becoming colder, the freezing level through the day will be around 800 metres. New snow amounts expected to be less than 1 cm. Observed Weather Influences: Mild conditions with rain and sleet have affected the area. Winds have been fresh to strong generally South-Westerly. The freezing level was just above the higher summits. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack continues to thaw and diminish particularly at lower levels. The remaining snow is soft wet and is generally stable on all but the steepest slopes where surface wet snow instabilities exist, most affected areas are sheltered gullies and North-Westerly through North to Easterly slopes mainly above 950 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
