Fresh and older wind slabs represent the main danger.
As a consequence of a strong northwesterly wind, further wind slabs will form in the course of the day. These have formed in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls and generally at elevated altitudes. Fresh and older wind slabs are to be assessed with care and prudence.
