Forecast Snow Stability: The patchy snowpack will remain wet but reasonably bonded in most locations. The thin superficial snow cover will deplete at all elevations by the end of the day. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Overnight rainfall at all elevations dying out just before dawn. Remaining mild throughout. Strong SW winds. Observed Weather Influences: Dry and very cold overnight. Some early snowfall turning quickly to sleet or rain at most levels. Milder and wet from mid-morning onwards. Light winds overnight then strong SE for the rest of the period. ObservedSnowStability: The patchy snowpack surface is wet at all but summit levels. A little thin, damp windslab formed on steep, very sheltered W to N aspects above 900m during daylight hours. Stability remains good in most locations. The avalanche hazard is Low.
