The early morning will see quite favourable conditions mostly. The sometimes deep wind slabs are in some cases still prone to triggering. Wind slabs can be released, even by small loads in isolated cases. These are clearly recognisable. In the late morning as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation there will be a gradual increase in the danger of wet avalanches. On very steep slopes small to medium-sized moist and wet avalanches are to be expected.

The wind slabs have bonded quite well with the old snowpack. They are in some cases still prone to triggering at elevated altitudes. These are in some cases deep. The surface of the snowpack will only just freeze and will soften quickly. Sunshine and high temperatures will give rise as the day progresses to increasing moistening of the snowpack.
