Rain continues to saturate the upper snowpack up to 2100 m in some areas. Above the rain line, new snow combined with strong south to southwest winds is building slabs in lee terrain.
A widespread crust is buried 20 to 60 cm deep below 2100 m. Beneath this, the snowpack is generally well settled with no significant layers of concern.
