Forecast Snow Stability: Accumulations of moderately bonded windslab will persist mainly on North-West through North to East aspects above 1000 metres, with more isolated shallow accumulations on South-East aspects. Areas most affected will be steep wind sheltered locations such as gully tops and coire rims. Elsewhere the old snowpack will be well bonded, firm and stable, with a thin covering of soft snow above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.

Forecast Weather Influences: Snow showers above 1000 metres at the start of the night will quickly ease to give dry conditions. Strong Westerly winds overnight will become light North-Westerly by morning and light Northerly during the afternoon. The freezing level will gradually drop to around 800 metres. Observed Weather Influences: Snow showers throughout the day with gale force South-South-Westerly winds. The freezing level rose to around 1000 metres. ObservedSnowStability: Accumulations of fresh moderately bonded windslab are developing mainly on North-West through North to East aspects above 1000 metres.
