Forecast Snow Stability: The little remaining old snow, primarily round corrie rims and in deep cut gullies on North to East aspects above 800 metres will remain well bonded and firm underfoot. Any new snow will be insignificant. The avalanche hazard will be Low.
Snowpack Structure
Forecast Weather Influences: There will be occasional light snow flurries overnight and during the day on the highest summits. Winds will be light to moderate, South-Westerly overnight veering North-Westerly during the day. The freezing level will be around 800 metres. Observed Weather Influences: Occasional light showers falling as snow above 800 metres. Persistent cloud above 700 metres. Light Northerly winds. ObservedSnowStability: Only isolated patches of firm well bonded snow remain, primarily in deep gullies, stream beds and round corrie rims on North to East aspects above 800 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
