At all elevations the snowpack is mostly stable. Be alert to isolated pockets of slab up to 18 inches in depth, particularly in very steep terrain. Avoid slopes above or below cliff bands or cornices where the angle increases to meet vertical features.

Light snow is possible Tuesday night with little accumulation. Wednesday will dawn near zero then warm to the low 20s as a disturbance brings widespread snowfall by afternoon. Winds along the ridge tops will be southwesterly at 20 miles per hour in the morning then veer to westerly and increase to 30 mile per hour averages in the afternoon.The general avalanche hazard will be Low in the Tetons and Togwotee Pass areas. Isolated pockets of slabs to 18 inches in depth could be released by backcountry travelers. Extreme terrain near cliff bands and cornices should be carefully evaluated for local stability. The hazard will be Moderate in the Southwest Trails/Greys River area where pockets of slabs to 18 inches in depth are more widespread.
