Forecast Weather Influences: There will be light rain or drizzle overnight followed by a mainly dry day. Strong South-West winds throughout the period. The freezing level will drop to around 1000 metres during the day. Observed Weather Influences: Moderate Westerly winds with some drizzle today. The freezing level was well above the summits. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack was softening in the mild conditions but stability remains good in all locations. Cover is patchy with greatest accumulations on North to East aspects above 850 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
