In gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain slab avalanches are possible, but they will be mostly small. They can be released, mostly by large loads. On very steep slopes individual loose snow avalanches are possible, but they will be mostly small.

The snowpack will become subject to considerable local variations. Wind and new snow to low altitudes: This snow will be deposited on the quite favourable surface of an old snowpack. Fresh wind slabs are to be found especially adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. They are to be found in particular on south, southwest and west facing slopes.
