Steep wind sheltered locations such as gullies and coire rims will be most affected. Fragile cornices will form above these aspects. Elsewhere the old snowpack will be well bonded and stable. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.

Forecast Weather Influences: Showers throughout the forecast period will fall as snow above around 800 metres. Moderate South-West winds will veer Westerly during the afternoon. The snowpack is beginning to refreeze above 800 metres with a gradual thaw continuing at lower elevations. Isolated deposits of fresh windslab are present on North to East aspects above 900 metres. These deposits are shallow and not extensive. The avalanche hazard is Low.
