Mount Shasta
Lawinengefahr
Kernpunkte
The chance of triggering an avalanche or witnessing natural avalanche activity remains unlikely. Maintain normal caution by carrying avalanche rescue gear and watching for signs of instability. The most significant hazard to backcountry travellers is early season conditions. Avoid thinner areas of the snowpack where rocks and logs are close to the surface.
