Forecast Snow Stability: New localised accumulations will develop in wind sheltered terrain mainly on North-East to South-East aspects. Above 900 metres where accumulations achieve depth over older snow-ice they will be moderately bonded. Gully tops and corrie rims will be most affected. Elsewhere, old snow will be firm and often icy with greatest amounts above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.

Forecast Weather Influences: Freezing level will be around the glens overnight before lifting back up to 900 metres during the day. Snowfall during the night otherwise clear. A strong breeze from the North-North-West, veering North and easing. Observed Weather Influences: A mild, dry day with the cloud base initially around 650 metres. Winds were very strong from the South, easing later in the afternoon. ObservedSnowStability: The snow cover remains well bonded and stable throughout. Greatest cover is to be found above 900 metres on the high plateau areas and on South-West through West to North aspects. Very patchy cover below this altitude. The avalanche hazard is Low.
