Lawinenprobleme
Avalanche Activity
An appreciable danger of moist and wet avalanches exists. The sometimes new snow-covered wind slabs remain in some cases prone to triggering in high Alpine regions. They are covered with new snow and are difficult to recognise, caution is to be exercised in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls on steep slopes.
Snowpack Structure
The sleet gave rise to unfavourable bonding of the snowpack above approximately 2000 m. The surface of the snowpack will only just freeze and will soften during the day.
